Unfortunately, while one might have reasonably expected to be able to choose among perhaps six to eight of the primary colours and their secondary admixtures, the ballot included some 128 alleged colours including the winner: "Wheat" (which last time I checked was a grain and not a colour at all). While some of the extended colour choices were defensible (e.g. violet) much of the survey read like the order form in a Lands End catalog.
Moreover while I am forced to agree that "Navy Blue" is in fact one of the best blues , its inclusion along with the so called Standard, Pale and Alice (Alice!?) Blues split the primary vote and tilted the survey in favor of your designer colours.
Sadly, we all know that in any fair fight "Red" (the New York Yankees of favorite colours) would almost certainly have won, thereby shedding enormous doubt on you methodolgy.
Finally, if you print this letter, please do not add "u" to every occurence of the word "colour" as you did with my last note on this subject, as it makes me appear pendantic and more than a little silly.
