(Daily Mi: 0.0) Bought a new backpack today. I have loved my GoLite Breeze to death, but I just need to start carrying more cold weather gear and clothing than I can cram into my beloved little pack.

Get a fabulous end of season deal on an Osprey Aether (180.00) Have some trouble with fit because the waist belts on the pack long enough for my 6'1 frame are too big for my currently 30" waist. Put the GoLite in my bounce box in case I just hate the new pack.

Nice big breakfast at a restaurant back just north of town center w/ Brother, Virgin and his g-friend.

Brother and Laura hiked out this afternoon. Everyone else already gone by mid-morning.

Kicked around town. Ate fries. Shopped for food. Called home to confirm my plans to continue sourth and schedule my next drop box. My father is very excited to hear that the next location is finally *not* in Virginia. That makes two of us.

Did some cleaning at the hostel. Moved my gear to a room in the as yet undecorated downstairs part of the house. Exchange maps and guidebook pages with the contents of my bounce box. Read magazines. Fiddled with my new pack.
