The breakfast buffet was open but picked bare by the time we arrived at Hilltop House so we got coffee and burgers down the hill. After we split up, I weent to the Appalachian Trail Conference Headquarters. Met a large group of Southbounders there who were headed for two days off in DC. Had my picture taken for the ATC hiker register. Bumped in to a British tour hiker named Andy who I had last seen in Monson. I bought a book to read, ate dinner and slept at the Hilltop House.
